A publisher made a children's picture book out of this.<br /><br />Some sections of the Rocky Mountains, even as far south as Colorado, have snowcaps all year. It is interesting to find snow in winter.<br /><br />Some places in the southwestern U.S. have "lava caves" because of all the old volcanic activity out here. Some of those caves stay at about freezing temperatures year-round and are called "ice caves" because they keep frozen ponds all year.<br /><br />The weather patterns are definitely changing!<br /><br />Be blessed.<br /><br />C. We've had very little snow this year but we always get some, and there is snow on some of the hgher hills well into the year. It's about the many tragedies yet some triumphs in a depressed, drug-ridden area of the American Appalachian Mountains, in West Virginia.
