Flowers I bought to off-set the wicked heat and drought outdoors. Set on our bird themed tablecloth, a gift to ourselves for our last anniversary. They opened over a couple of days, just as the store promised.

Lovely - but lovelier when in the ground!
You are so right. This is really our only choice, though, as the temps continue day after day above 110 degrees F, or higher than 44 degrees C.
I wish we could exchange some! Hardly any sun and not very warm for the past few days here. Be thankful in all things.
