Flag Day

In honor of the U.S Commemoration of Flag Day on June 14th, here are some pictures of the U.S. flag taken in beautiful, mountainous Northern Arizona.  (Yes, Arizona).
Although the pictures were taken in the fall, they are excellent to ponder this Flag Day and any other patriotic day.

Exodus 17:15, "And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi".

Just to make you jealous - I had a visit to Inversnaid yesterday!

Hi, David. Thanks for visiting again. It is me, Marie, but there are issues getting into the account right now.

I'm responding on what is actually Flag Day, June 14th, here in the US.

Ah, yes, I'm a bit jealous.

We hope to visit the UK in a few years. Wales would have an appeal: Hopkins for me, regional railways for my son. He still likes The Railway Series by Awdrey, though he's a young adult. Maybe the Isle of Man would be good, too for that reason.

Have a blessed summer!

Hi, I've posted some Inversnaid pictures here: https://dcbverse.blogspot.com/2023/08/the-ark-at-jericho.html

I'm in Scotland; the scenery's a bit better, and so are most things (I think), but we can't compete with Wales for mountain railways.
