Refreshing Rivers


These pictures are from the White River, a tributary to the Salt River in Arizona. The Salt River and another tributary, the Black River, form the boundary between two Apache Indian tribes in Arizona.

Where do you bury a dead Apache?

(Maybe that needs to be said in Scots.)

Well, I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Is it an old Scots saying? I was happy to see many very *alive* Apaches on this trip! :)
